Pontape 2013 Remake

Description

Renato Cohen has remade his Pontape original eleven years on, bringing new life to one of techno's classic records. Beginning with the immediately recognisable droning bass line that has become so synonymous with the release, Cohen introduces a build during the middle section that gives the track a new depth second time around. Alan Fitzpatrick has been selected for remix duties, adding a contemporary twist to this classic track by retaining the original hook-line using the drone in the breaks but adding his own synth-stab to bring a new and interesting dimension to the track.
